NEC Electronics always maintained that a European release of the MobilePro 900 series would never happen in Europe.

Well this evening etailer eXpansys UK Limited, a division of the Manchester based, Global on-line IT electronics distributor. Have the MobilePro 900C listed as a pre-orderable item in their PDA section.
The pro-order price is £591.45 GBP (ex VAT) roughly $1,050 USD, €846 EUD or ¥118,290 JPY at current exchange rates.

There currently is no mention as to the expected availability of the devices to ship to customers. Neither any indication as to whether the release is endorsed by NEC or imported from the Americas.
What is apparent though is that the MobilePro 900C has been listed on eXpansys for at least 4 weeks now. Leaving one to conclude that they - an international retailer are experiencing the same availability issues as both large and small US retailers.
