PocketDOS is an award winning, XT-x86 emulator for Windows CE. It allows you to emulate DOS, including PC DOS and MS DOS amongst others directly on your Handheld PC.
PocketDOS is also able to address hardware resources on your Handheld PC, including the serial and infrared ports, storage cards, network adapters, printers and more.

The new release, version 1.10.0 includes the following new features, enhancements and bug fixes:
  • Adds SuperVGA VESA BIOS extensions (VBE) v1.2 display mode support
  • Adds LIM expanded memory (EMS) v4.0 support
  • Adds options to improve keyboard compatibility with barcode scanners and other non-standard input devices
  • Adds options to improve keyboard compatibility with non-US language keyboards
  • Bug fixes and compatibility improvements when using CPU plug-ins
  • Improves reliability of printer and serial communications
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements
PocketDOS significantly is available for All Windows CE devices, including Windows CE 1.00, and all the Handheld PC platform releases, including Windows CE 4 devices.
PocketDOS costs €27.95 (£19.54 GBP, $37.10 USD, ¥3010 JPY est.) and is available as a web download with trial from the PocketDOS website.
