Hurricane Wilma moves in

Handheld PC News

Those regulars who have been with us since 2003 or this time last year will remember clearly the rough ride HPC:Factor received during the last hurricane season. We have been thankful that we have so far had a rather quiet year in terms of remaining on-line. Currently Hurricane Wilma is bearing down on the Florida Keys, and is on course to pass directly over Southern Florida on her way out to the Atlantic.

While the eye of the storm does not look set to pass over our server farm, it is beyond our abilities to affirm that there will not be any disruption over the coming 12 hours or so. This is the first hurricane test of the new Fibre line, and also the first major storm of the season to head our way.

We would like to wish all of our visitors in Florida a safe few hours as the storm passes by, and please bear with us if there are any outages.
