Gotive H42 ROM Image Update

Gotive have released an updated build of the H42's Windows CE 5.0 ROM. The new build, version 1.49 was released on the 5th of June and can be downloaded immediately from the Gotive support site, along with flash tools and documentation.

Highlights in the new release include:
  • corrections in battery management, added thresholds for low battery status
  • updated time zone data for North America
  • added support for SDHC 2.0 to enable SD High-Capacity Memory cards (4 32 GB)
  • added support for Eastern European codepages
  • new versions of WLAN and Ethernet drivers
  • general stability improvements
The update can be downloaded for free from Gotive by any H42 owners able to provide a valid serial number and email address.
