Julio Ortiz's BlackLight Beta ReleaseHandheld PC News Posted 16 years ago | News | Chris Tilley 0 comments
![]() Julio Ortiz's "The Next Chamber" have released a new Beta utility application for Windows CE which is designed to augment the traditional use of the Run box, with customisable launch commands akin to the popular Launchy and Keybreeze utilities.
BlackLight allows users to create a fully customisable Quick launch through text commands system, which can be used to perform repetitive actions such as launching a specific web page at the entering of a command; for example opening http://www.hpcfactor.com/news/ in your browser by simply entering "hpcnews". BlackLight is available for Windows CE 2.11 and higher on Arm, MIPS, SH3 and SH4 processors as well as on for the Windows PC environment. Best of all, BlackLight is completely free donationware, and will remain so after the beta. If you are interested in steering the development of BlackLight, Julio is seeking feedback, ideas and suggestions on the product through the forums here on HPC:Factor so we would like to encourage visitors to spend a few moments seeing how BlackLight can help you in your H/PC Life!
