vxUtil 1.5.8 Internet Tools

This is a little late here on HPC Factor as it would have been posted on ce320 while we were down. vxUtil has been updated to version 1.5.8. While there is no official documentation stating what's new, the program seems a lot more responsive on my 340LX.

It also contains some cambridgevx.com self promotion which is coded into the program (no internet banners or anything nasty) which I find perfectly acceptable for such a useful program.

vxUtil is a very low footprint suite of internet utilities for Windows CE 2.0 Handheld PC's and above. It is a must have for any HPC that runs on a network and for IT / Network engineers. vxUtil is comprised of the following tools:

DNS Audit
DNS Lookup
Finger
Get HTML
Info
IP Subnet Calculator
Ping
Ping Sweep
Port Scanner
Quote
Time Service
Trace Route
Whois

Best of all vxUtil is Freeware. It has an application footprint of around 100KB and happily runs from a storage card.
