![]() When we reluctantly introduced the e-mail verification system on the forums as a method of countering the unacceptable levels of SPAM posts that we were receiving, we notified the community that we would eventually seek to clean-up the user registrations database.
We have decided that we will begin this process as of 1st January 2009. This means:

I doubt that I will get around to it until the afternoon of the 1st. The only people who will be impacted by this registered between 24th May 2008 and 1st December 2008. the trailing 30 days will have a bit longer to validate. I am doing weekly mail shot reminders to the unvalidated database at the moment. The the 818 users with fake or inactive email addresses, I hope you read this before you decide you want your account. |
