Christian Ghisler of Ghisler Software has published a beta version of the popular Total Commander file manager program for Windows CE.

The new beta main adds compatibility fixes for Windows Mobile devices over that of the 2.52 beta 1 release from the beginning of 2009, but none the less contains 26 bug fixes compared to beta 1.

The development time for Total Commander between beta 1 and beta 2 was nearly 10 months, and to date there has been limited feedback on the Windows CE release on the Ghisler software forums, perhaps highlighting the limited publicity that the release has received. We would encourage all Total Commander users to download the update and provide feedback sooner rather than later least development dry up completely!

The beta release is available for ARM, MIPS, SH3 and SH4 devices for Windows CE 2.00 or higher and continue to remain freeware for H/PC devices.
