On 7th March 2003 the sites ce320 and Simply HPC came together - after a few woes with some server hosting - and burst onto your screens as HPC:Factor.
8 years later HPC:Factor is still on your screens, all some 11 years after we first started to provide advice, support and information to the Handheld PC (and later Windows CE) community. Comments on this articleI hope this site lasts as long as all my CE stuff! This site has helped me with so many issues and questions and I also recently bought something off HPCbay. Actually, the sites I visit most, meaning many times a day, are HPC: Factor and eBay. I have hardly done anything else much on the internet in the past few weeks and I check HPC: Factor for new posts more than I check my email, :P. Happy birthday. It's been a privilege to staff this site, and I hope to continue to be a part of it for years to come. :) This site has been a big Help with my 620, 680, 720 and Nec MP900! Thanks so much, Kinda ironic tomorrow is My 50th B'Day and I got myself an Archos Android 7 inch Tablet (But it's a Touchscreen!) ;) Add my congrats to the list. It still surprises me how many people look with envy at my 728 when I use it. And they ask about it; they want to see it; they want to hear about this newest, smallest, computer. I guess there is a good reason I did not make a career in marketing. To my mind, there is no explaining the way the market for handheld computing has developed. It's just not rational. Best.
