The nPOPuk team have unveiled the latest service update for the ever popular nPOPuk 'cross platform' email client.

Version 3.02 is a service release for the latest major version 3 branch, which includes a small number of enhancements for Windows CE users (and a few more for Win32 users). A full changelog was not available at the time of writing.

Of particular interest is that following feedback and requests from the HPC:Factor community, this is the first release to be packaged with CAB installers - simplifying the initial setup of nPOPuk on the device by automatically isolating the application file content from user content. The new distribution mechanism also allows for ActiveSync side installs and automated installation on headless Windows CE devices.

The new installers are available for CE 2.00, 2.11 and 3.00 devices on the usual range of processors.

nPOPuk remains free and open source and we encourage you to try the program, provide feedback and get involved in the project if you can.
