Description

ROBOT is a port for WinCE a widely known game of the same name on UNIX. This is a puzzle game in which you dodge a looming army of robots and defeat them. It will be released as free software, so please feel free to use it.
How To Play

There is a robot with a new icon on the screen.
Tap the screen to take a step in that direction.
When you move one step, all robots move one step toward you.
If the robots bump into each other, they will be destroyed by the impact and debris will remain. (A taised object.) Can't you see the wreckage? Cultivate your imagination :-)
The robot that jumped into the wreckage also breaks down and turnes into debris.
As you run around, you hit each other, the wreckage and the robot, and when you hit all the robots, the level is clear.
Once enclosed, tap the Teaport button to report and run away. However, if there is a robot around the destination of the report, it will be caught by the robot, and it is the end of the volume.
Teleport can be used as many times as you like. Don't forget, however, that there is a possibility that the game will be over.
Tap the Sonic button to blast the shockwaves around you and crush the robots around you. However, the Sonic button can only be used once a level.
The game will continue until you report and end the volume, or until the player gets bored.

Operating environment

The operation was confirmed in the mobile gear CS12 and Cassiopeia A-51. Thank you very much, Mr. Sakai, for lending me Cassiopeia.

In the Japanese version of CE2.0, we have received reports of operation on Mobile Gear II and HP620LX. Thank you very much, Mr. Shinmei and Mr. Hatakeyama for your cooperation. The English version was confirmed in Velo500 (MIPS,CE2.0).
Download
Archives are separated for SH and TIPS. Please download the file that is correct for your H/PC. Also, in the case of Netscape, you may not be able to download it well. In this case, hold down the shift key and click the link.

For MIPS (Mobile Gear 1,2,Velo500)
For SH (Cassiopeia, HP620LX)
95/NT
Source

For 95/NT, it is the one that I made for the bug of robot. There are some strange things like the ABOUT dialog, but I don't want to fix it. (^^; Well, there are not many people who want to play in 95/NT, but I'll publish it together as a bonus because I feel like it. Of course, you can play properly, so if you are hungry (what?), please try to compare the movement. Documentation is not included for 95/NT, so please refer to for CE. For distribution, etc., in relation to the documentation, please work with the CE version.

As for the source, it is the one that the original one made for the hand study was developed, and the contents are quite terrible, but I dare to publish it as it is (^^; as it is. Many of them know about the structure of the program and dare to remain terrible. On the other hand, there is a great possibility that you do not know how to use the WINDOW-related API. If you can point out the strange point, it is that there is whether there is a public.

I, Hirami, hold on to copyright. Please consult us about redistribution after modification. Don't forget to use the operation warranty and disclaimer :-)

By the way, it is the same source as the Windows version and the CE version. It is a good point of CE that the use around here works.
Every other thing.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
It is this program that I want to play suddenly in the process of writing various programs in order to get used to the program in CE, and I changed it. That's why the sauce is so spectacular :-) At first, I was going to play properly and throw it away, but because it is a current situation where there are still few applications, I published it in that it would be good even if there is such a thing. By the way, it is also the first work in Win32. Hopefully it will not be the first and last work. (v_v)
What is a layout?
It is a common Windows CE style to put a command bar on the screen, but if you do so, the horizontal screen will become thinner even if you do so, and the game screen will be smaller, so I put a button next to it. I'm also doing Solitea, and I think this is a good thing. However, because the button was not enough, it became a break to do the display of the high score together in About.
About Bitmaps
As for bitmaps, I make them quite carelessly. I haven't even done it in four colors. Especially, it does not go well even if various things are done about the wreckage, and it is in the form of such a cut-out. If anyone could make a cool bitmap, I'd like to replace it.
About the fine differences
Actually, I played with the original robot about two years ago, and since there is no environment where I can play with the original, I make it in a fairly vague state, such as calculating the score, the movement when using Sonic, and the size of the vertical and horizontal. Well, I've seen some versions back then, and I've been thinking that the screen size is good because I can't help it with that small LCD in the first place.
