It covers the emerging trends in the IT industry, like Web-Based Training (WBT), Electronic Commerce, Y2K problem and Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP). The first section on WBT deals with how learning takes place on the web and the positive and negative aspects of the same. The section on E-Commerce explains how business is done on the Internet along with the associated aspects like Digital Currency, Security and Encryption. One of the sections of the book is devoted to the problem of Y2K. The last section gives an overview of ERP.
