MailBeam is a cross-platform application that allows you to transfer mail messages from your Windows CE based PDA to either another Windows CE based device using infrared communication. No wires, no hassle. Just point and shoot!!

How to use MailBeam?
The following steps are to be followed in order to transfer mail messages using MailBeam:
Place the two devices such that they are facing each other. Make sure the infrared ports are lined up.
Start MailBeam on both devices.
Select a mail message or messages from the list of messages shown in the MailBeam window. Tap Beam to send only the selected messages, or Send All to transfer all the messages in the folder.
What is the maximum number of devices that one can be connected to at a time?
It is possible to connect to and exchange messages with only one remote device at a time.
Do you need to install any particular software in order to use this application?
No additional software is required in order to run this application successfully. For Windows CE devices, one DLL has to be loaded in the windows directory. It is automatically copied with the help of the setup program.
Would the application run on any handheld PC ?
The present version of the application has been developed exclusively for the Windows CE 2.0 MIPS/SH3 and Palm OS 2.0 or higher and therefore can be run only on Hand-helds/Palmtops supporting this environment.
