POINTERCE
translates for winCE units some of the functions that usually
the Pointer Vbasic versions perform under Windows 95/98
The functions that are available in PointerCE are the following:
1 - To search a file by name or a group of files by extention
2 - To search duplicate files on the unit
3 - To execute a snapshot of the unit's content and thence check
for added or deleted file.
4- To see properties of a files clicking on its name in the list.
5- To move or copy a file into another folder
6- To see a directory content by clicking a list of dirs.
these features of Pointer are available using basic version on a HPC.
7- To control the current status of the unit (i.e. memory and
storage space available and free, the main and backup battery)
8- To run an application taping its name on the files' list.
Installation Instructions
If you have NSbasic installed then copy the file .nsb where you
wish Into your unit (It run from Storage Card also).
If not then dowload the NSruntime (freeware), connect your WinCE
unit to the PC and install it.
As soon as done copy the file .nsb as above.
. As said program runs under WinCE 2.x or Pocket PC and with any
CPU supported (SH3,MIPS,ARM,Sh4) thanks to the Runtime
(Attention MGCEwi32 does not run with cpu Arm)
