Category(s)

Description This program is a DLL extension for the CE Terminal Services Client to send a Wake-on-LAN packet to a specified MAC address whenever it is started. Then your remote computer can standby or hibernate, if its network card supports Wake-on-LAN.

Binaries are available for CPU's under CE 2.11, 3.0 and 4.0 with compiler performance optimisations enabled.

Installation Instructions After putting the DLL binary in the \Windows folder, you will need to add the following to the registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Default\AddIns\WAKE]
"Name"="xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.dll"

IMPORTANT: You must rename the binary to match the MAC address of the computer you want to wake (e.g. DE-AD-BE-EF-12-34.dll)! Then you must also replace the xx's in the above registry entry to match.
