Description
Garmap CE runs on H/PCs or P/PCs running Windows CE 2.0 (or maybe later).
Garmap CE is freeware.
Garmap CE communicates with Garmin GPS receiver to manage Track logs, Waypoints and Routes, and shows your
current position on a map. Garmap CE also offers a function like Garmin's GPS "GoTo"... it shows your current speed,
track, bearing and ETE.
Maps may be in either BMP or 2BP format. Before you can use a bitmap as a map, the bitmap has to be calibrated. See calibration.
Maps may be divided into segments to improve performance. Garmap CE load 9 bitmaps at a time. If required, Garmap CE will automatically change maps based on your current position.
Garmap CE uses Garmin Protocol to deal with Track Log / Waypoint / Route management / Navigation , and uses NMEA data for NMEA Navigation. If you choose NMEA Navigation, you can store of NMEA sentences on a H/PC or P/PC.

1.Download Track Logs, Waypoints and Routes from a Garmin GPS receiver.
2.Create and Upload Waypoints and Routes to a Garmin GPS receiver.
