Ewe is a programming system that allows you to write applications, using Java, which run exactly the same on desktop systems, on mobile systems, and even in a Web browser as an Applet.

Ewe applications can run even on computers without a Ewe VM. Any Java 1.2 (or better) VM can run a Ewe application. Your application will be more portable than any other Java application, and look a lot better. Your code can even run as an Applet without you needing to make a single change.

Ewe is the fastest starting, most memory efficient mobile or desktop VM. Advanced mobile features including:

Easy Infra-Red Port Programming.
Advanced Desktop-to-Device Communication API with Synchronization.
Landscape display mode on all platforms.
Device Customized User Interface.
A GUI library similar to SWING, at a fraction of the size.
Native Method Interface for accessing custom and device specific APIs.
