Description

DVD Catalyst, or DVDCatalyst, is without a doubt the easiest to use, yet most powerful destkop tool you can get to convert movies or nearly any other video into a format that makes viewing it on your HPC enjoyable.

The graphic above really is nothing at all, just a compilation of the free version of DVDCatalyst with a few graphic images I just copied on there.

The real software is available for download at tools4movies.com or dvdcatalyst.com

It is simple to use and creates great movies. As an example, I copied a full feature movie froma DVD and downsized it to fit my Mobilepro at a 240 pixel height and 400 pixels wide. That was nearly full screen. Converting the audio and frame rate, increasing the contrast to help with the crappy DSTN screen of my Mobilepro 790, the entire movie, when I was done, was just a little over 3 megabytes.

Dump a few movies on a memory card, and you can keep the kids enterained for hours....
