Overview

HPC:Factor has discovered an Easter Egg in the Microsoft Money for Handheld PC version 1.0 distribution. An Easter egg is a hidden item in a software program, placed there intentionally by the developer. Easter Eggs are usually placed in a software application to list the names of the development team and the testing team.

This Easter Egg is for the Handheld PC 1.0 release of Microsoft Money for the Handheld PC only.

Guide

To view the Easter Egg:

1. Install Microsoft Money 1.0 on your Handheld PC.
2. Soft Reset to complete the installation
3. Open the Start Menu and Run 'Microsoft Money'
4. Close any dialogues that open and return to the Account Manager
5. From the File Menu tap 'About Microsoft Money'
6. On the keyboard hold down either the Left or Right hand Shift Key
7. Single Tap the Microsoft Money logo in the top right hand corner of the About Box
8. Release the Shift Key
9. The Easter Egg will now be displayed. Single tap again to exit. The egg auto exits once complete
