| Green squares of different shades that will confuse a lot of people
I have a code example that can make the ranking image system a little more... normal. I will look to implementing it when the next core revision of MBBS arrives. Things will be less confusing then. |

| It is a new design...
I thought that was kinda obvious
Anyyyway...
I think that the problem with the notification facility is with our authenticated SMTP server not liking the web server all too much.
PD9 only have CDONTS, CDOSYS and ASP Mail controls and I need something with an authenticability (looks it up... yup, new word courtacy of C:Amie ).
Can someone categorically tell me if the forgotten password system works?
Everythign works on internal mail addresses - as the server deems intra server / domain messaging as trusted. |

| PS,
Just a follow up on your Deleting PM bug.
This isn't a problem. The upper delete button (the actual web form button) is for mass deleting from the inbox - place a check in the box and hit delete and they will go en-mass.
The red button is for the current active message. |

hmm ... I think u may need to get the company maintaining the SMTP server to "trust" the web server. hey, wait a min, u mean your SMTP server is on another location and not with the same company?? |

| We are self hosted on a *nix / Windows combination. The server is trusted - I get all email from the forum to my hpcfactor.com mail address but for security it requires authenticated SMTP to pass anything out into the big wide world.

| In the Control Panel, there's an option titled:
"Use rich edit box when composing messages?"
If "Yes" is selected, you get a different text box in the reply or new thread page, with text formatting options. But if you Submit it, the resulting post will be shown in HTML codes, instead of formatted text. |

| PS,
Eye candy bores you eh... hum...
It encourages people to search more, which can only be a good thing.

| Yup, well when the site has never made a penny, and we're using a T1 line to host off of. Sacrifices must be made.
We're not made of money around here. So the servers haven't been upgraded.
Ipso facto, things run slowly. Off of an exceptionally over loaded server.
