Ever diligent on squashing those bugs, Bye Design Ltd. has released a second update to its award winning SpreadCE Pocket Excel replacement for the month of April.

The changelog for the release states:

• Fixed a bug that prevented entry of extended characters, such as the Euro symbol
• Fixed a bug with saving formatted text in drawing objects
• Shareware Version published here

The update is free for all registered users while the usual shareware release is available for anyone interested in experiencing a full-fat spreadsheet application for the Handheld PC (inclusing full charting and VBA support) at a low cost.

SpreadCE costs $20.00 USD (£16.53 GBP, €19.01 EUR, ¥2,985.95 JPY est.) to register, with lifetime updates on Windows CE of desktop Windows devices, while a $4.99 version is also available for Android.
