Hi

I am thinking of buying a 3Com 3CRWB6096 SL-1022 Bluetooth PC card for my MP900c as the HCL lists it as compatible. The HCL does not provide a driver for this card and the 3Com web site only lists one for Microsoft Pocket PC and Pocket PC 2002 with Windows CE version 3.0. Will that driver work or do I need a different one?

Regards

Patrick

i dont remember right now if it worked on my 900c or on cenet at all. (i have one)

update: after checking the hcl, i see it is the same bug again, it only lists compatiblity for 4.2, even though the only one known is for 3.0. (bug is that sometimes the green compatibility sign gets moved to the right?)

Hi 106112909,
I'm in UK too. I'm using an Ambicom Bluetooth card, it's not ideal but not too expensive. It works well with my Nokia 6822 on GPRS.
Only 1 problem it uses the same COM port as Activesync, so I have to uninstall the BTooth program to use Activesync.
It's available on Ebay from the US.
Also Brainboxes claim their BT card works on CE4.2
Best of luck

Hi Airhook

What do you mean the Ambicom uses the same COM piort as ActiveSync? Do you sync serially? Can't you configure the driver to tell it what COM port to use? Why would ActiveSync use a COM port if it is set to sync using USB?

Regards

Patrick

socket bt is best the rest of the bt cards listed seem fine in the HCL.

as for the ambicom, the D version needs hacking!

I use the widcomm driver version 1.4 for ppc2002. Is not difficult to find on the web.

To make it work you have to be friendly with the basic HPC/PPC hack.
