| I'm probably overlooking something simple, but I did a forum search, and came up with nothing.
Is there any way to edit, or reassociate an icon with a shortcut in WIN CE Pro?
I'm SOOO tired of that lame MS generic icon on my desktop for uBook, especially since the uBook logo is so cool, and there's a gif already in the uBook folder.
Thanks,

| I believe that feature is not in CE itself. But I am not sure if there's a 3rd party utility to add it. | |

| This is not possible with application shortcuts, the first icon in any executive is read off as the default icon. However it is possible with some shell folders whos icon paths are stored in the registry.
Obviously you cannot use gif files to do it, and you need to have Microsoft Windows CE encoded, 4-bit icon librarys to do it.
There are a number of tweak applications (tweakce for example) which allow you to change shell folders from the UI. | |
