| With hints from cmonex, I was able to flash the MP using C+F method. It was a surprising success. It did hang at 'Copy bootloader from CF to flash' the first time. It went through the second time. | |

| yeah, if you already are in this situation, trying to C+F flash a XIP.BIN (one that is *NOT* a RAM OS image!!!), won't hurt. if the bootloader is 4.10 it will happily flash it properly (don't worry about that fluke, though that is quite rare), and if not, XIP.BIN won't kill anything. (what you must *not* try is SABOOT flash.) | |
