Just downloaded the ppc version, which comes default with a 240 pixel tall, 320 pixel wide screen.

Works really cool...so the question is this: What does everyone else use to listen to the radio on their HPCs with?

Cool, but the iBiz is a true radio isn't it? I mean it picks up broadcast FM stations? Rescoe Radio streams radio from the internet needing only an activesync or ethernet connection (wired or wifi). And best of all, it doesn't need any hacks whatsoever. I just downloaded and installed the CAB file onto Cmonex v2 and it ran without doing anything else....

I also got a kick recording a song in MP3 format....

BTW Gregg, do you still use that crazy desktop wallpaper shown in the review? I need to see the whole thing...it's looks pretty unique!

Does anyone have this program working on j720? RedGear beta isn't doing it. I tried following execcheck results and still couldn't make it happen using a variety of cmonex dll cocktails.

You didn't specify in your original post - you just asked what we use to listen to the radio on our H/PCs.

Yes, I still have that wallpaper on my 728. I don't recall for sure, but I believe I got the wallpaper from Handheld Underground.

Yeah, the PPC skin does look nicer, but the point is the skin is a simple graphics file and the button placement works simply by specifying the pixel location...I modified the ppc version by simply stretching the graphic wider and replotting the button location. A person could make any skin very easily for this program.

Rescoe vs Resco...duh, who know how my mind works....

I had never listened to radio via internet before Rich posted this thread. I have been trying Resco Radio for a week now, and I have to admit that this is a really cool program. Sound quality is good and recording music is a nice feature too.

I use a combination of things for online radio: I like to use GSPlayer for shoutcast playlists, and HPC Media Player for almost everything else. I did get Resco Radio to work on the J720/728, but I found that for those stations using liquidmedia as a carrier, the HPC Media Player was best.
