After extensive experiments, I have determined the best WiFi card that works like an 'internal' one with a negligible protrusion
(~1mm
) from MP900
(C
).
I'm offering 2 options in a small quantity exclusively here:
A. NEC MobilePro 900 with CE .NET 4.2 and pre-installed 'internal' WiFi package.
Price: $99 shipped with tracking within US domestic address including Puerto Rico. $20 more for other destinations.
It includes MP900, original rechargeable battery, coin battery, OEM AC adapter
(same specs
), OEM stylus
(good fit
), and brand-new WiFi card with matching antenna. Stock ROM includes WiFi driver and Custom ROM includes an equivalent driver, too. Machine in good condition. Usable main battery but no guarantee. I'll test PCMCIA, USB, CF, speaker/audio jack, and power jack before shipping.
B. Brand-new WiFi card with matching antenna to be installed as an 'internal' WiFi.
Price: $25 shipped with tracking within US domestic address including Puerto Rico. $5 more for other destinations.
You only need to remove 1 screw and open the case at the corner to install the card. I'll trim the antenna to the right length unless you want to do it yourself. I can also install the card for you, but shipping costs you money.
The card's ID is Z-Com-LANEscape/APDL-325-8CA9 as shown in the registry.
See photos to feel the beauty! You can see the WiFi card on MP900 got VERY GOOD signal while sitting on a Sony Vaio with a standard WiFi card that got ~70% strength.
PM me if you are interested or ask questions if you have any. Thanks.
Long Live Handheld PC!
