I haven't found a good documentation on appointments database property values.. I have to do it via File Compare tool. (by dumping Appointments database with itsutils, and comparing bin properties )

I sent LVM_SETTEXTBKCOLOR, and LVM_SETTEXTCOLOR messages to DesktopExplorerWindow's ListView control /child window.
LVM_SETTEXTBKCOLOR with FF FF FF FF COLORREF value, LVM_SETTEXTCOLOR with FF FF FF 00 (white ) value.
VodaHide saves these colorref values to HKEY_CURRENT_USER /Desktop
and sends these messages to the listview on every soft reset.

So here is the beta version cab file.
Installation :
------------------
- Simple install cab on Bsq
- If you have unread SMS in your Messages / SMS / Inbox before install,
then after install : open Messages, and open any SMS in you Inbox.
You have to do it once, just after installation, and only when you have unread SMS.
The reason is : VodaHide.exe steals "unread" text and number from Messages program and I was lazy(lack of time) to add an SMS counter in CAB's setup dll.
I will do this also, in the next version.

Uninstall:
-------------

1. Control Panel / Remove Programs / Remove
2. Soft Reset . The program prompts you to make a soft reset, and even do it if you press yes.
3. Control Panel / Remove Programs / Remove again

The program contains code for uninstall in setup .dll, so you don't have to fiddle with wiping registry.

Bug : If you have only tomorrow appointments for today, the the previous version won't refresh tomorrow texts to nothing after midnight.
The problem is only "tomorrow" text , the previous version still handles correctly the start / end times.

Here's a bug fixed version.
If you have already installed the above version, remove it first

Just to say thanks. This is very cool my PHH now has a very tidy home screen.

To ask a very dumb newbie question ... Is there any (easy) way to change the vodaphone barnding of the start menu ? Is there a registry key or something I can just redirect ?

I don't know an easy way to do this
Start menu's Vodafone branding is a bitmap resource (number 110) in
\Windows\mphshell.dll
Maybe I'll try to do something...

I'm very interested in the mphshell.dll

How did you extract it from the ROM? I have a rom.bin from the maui, but dumprom doesn't seem to work (or am I just impatient?).

I would take the mphshell.dll and change the bitmap resource with "PE explorer". Then save it back to the maui to \temp\mphshell.dll

In the maui registry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BSQUARE\Inject\/windows/explorer.exe]. "Module"="\\temp\\mphshell.dll"

and give it a try.

marxx, desappear isn't needed, szilamer's app can do all and more than desappear!

i dunno how but yes szilamer extracted all files.. he sent all the stuff to me. i'm sure he will send it to you too.

i'm not sure if mphshell.dll will run though.. maybe as a MUI file it would..
