If you don't need overclocking, don't use it. I use overclocking only for high bitrate videos ( 600 Kbit/sec or more). It will be necessary for most FLV videos downloaded from the web (Youtube...).
There is no risk for the processor, especially if you use the 472 Mhz setting only. The only drawback is that it will drain the battery faster.

OK, so i feel better . By the way, i have trying to play a movie without using DVD Catalyst and without overcloking with a bitrate 448kbps on my 900c, and the video was going to jumps. However, the audio was fine. It's normal ?

The Nec 900c has a poor video performance. Try overclocking with this video.

Sounds like the framerate is more than the 900C (plus GAPI) can handle. I'd go with DVD Catalyst to adjust the framerate below 25 FPS.

Just a note, the TCPMP flv Plugin has released version 0.3 and now it can seek the video (drag on the time-bar).
Perfect plugin now I can watch my favorite KDrama from Youtube on HPC/PPC!

Updated 1.06 version here ( with improved FLV plugin v 0.4.2):

http://upload2.net/page/download/FUwRbTYcugqOkeQ/Player+1.06.zip.html
or here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/46880702/Player_1.06.zip.html

This version is for newer Arm/Xscale devices. The older 1.05 version for HPC2000 devices ( ARM and MIPS) can still be found on Monica's Site.

The FLV plugin was originally coded for CE 4.20 devices; that's why it didn't work on the Sig3. I have changed it now and tested it successfully on a Sig3. The first time you try to play a Flash video, the player may complain that it does not find the plugin: just close the program and restart it; associate FLV files with the player.

Don't forget to uninstall the previous version first.

Another update: v 1.07
Download it here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/54418719/Media_Player_1.07.zip.html

This update adds Mabin's subtitle plugin (which is now hard to find, due to the fact that Mabin's website is down).

I recommend this update if you watch foreign movies often.

Note on movie subtitles:
Subtitles should be in the SMI format.
If you have a subtitle file in another format (for example SRT), use Subtitle Workshop (freeware) to convert your subtitle file to a SMI file.
Download it here:
http://www.urusoft.net/download.php?lang=1&id=sw

SMI files should be placed in the same folder as your movie files, and have the same name, for example:
My_movie.avi and My_movie.smi

Warning: it may be necessary to change the video driver to GDI or GAPI, to enable subtitles (it does not work with some drivers like the Xscale driver).

WONDERFUL

Thank you again Geared

Any chance to add the VCD plug in? I sometimes tried to watch some VCDs but didn't work.
