Wisbar question.

Where can I download wisbar advanced?; I tried to find it, but I couldn't.
Is it a free software?

And does anyone know how to play embedded sound/music within Jornada 720's internet explorer? Mine shows only empty box instead of media player.
(Similar question was posted in "general form", but I mis-used between "tagged" and "embedded," so I couldn't get correct answer.)

Lasty, what is XML in Jornada internet explorer for?

Ok, no one replied.. It's so sad.
However, I've tested some programs.
Firstly, I tested Wisbar; it works fine, but the problem is I can't acess to its setting. One version says that it can't find correct path, and other one says it's illegal operation with some error code.
So, I tried pocket blinds, It works fine too. But, the problem is I can't minimize folders or programs. I should turn it off or I can't do anything else. It is useless then.

I haven't tried XML yet, I was too busy to find the way to change taskbar. By the way, I downloaded MSpowertoys because I heard that it can turn on the quick launch icons on taskbar; unfortunately, that ver. does not have quick launch option. Where did you guys download it from? Microsoft site link does not work anymore.

The XML is the MSML parser, it allows the system to reaad XML DTS's - no use on its own, it is a software API.

PowerToys does not include Quick Launch support, it has a cascading menu launcher, not Quick Launch, there is no Quick Launch on CE.

PToys: You can get it from this site.
WBA/WB: Google it from the manufactuer, it is a PPC app, not a H/PC app and needs to be stubbed to get it to work - both versions
Embedded: You cannot without CE3's Platform Builder or a PPC stub hack ont he WMP7 beta

it is not the xp like quicklaunch. it puts an icon in systray and you can press that to find and run your apps faster.

I googled Windows CE 3.0 Platform Builder, and there were many strange sites (except Micorsoft). Ususally, they were talking about the updates for CE3's Platform Builder.

Is it a hardware? Not a software? I just don't get what it is.
Again, I tried to find the answer by searching, but there were strange information which I can't understand.
Jornada is my first hpc/pda, so I have no knowledge on pda or its system.

platform builder is software. used for building the CE OS.

only C:Amie has it here and he only uses it to tantalize us by mentioning it.

....though since i got relocs working it has less effect


anyway the point is that you can't really get platform builder.

No, I mean a hacked ver. I tried this already after I installed MVP 1.2, but it says that version is not for my device. I can't install it.

IIRC, a couple of folks here got it to work - poorly - after hacking the dickens out of it. I don't recall the procedure, though.
