I have a PCMCIA Ethernet-card from
Xircom, type CE3B-100.
Although this has been reported to work for Jornada 728
(see
http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=8891&posts=6&start=1) I can't get it working for my Mobilepro790.
The drivers install, but immediately afterwards icons from the control panel all disappear making it impossible to adjust the IP settings. Uninstall didn't correct it, and I was left to hard reset in order to get the ICONs back. According to the compatibility list
(hcl
) my card is not listed, though it's sister card
(Ce3B-100BXT
) is listed as compatible with HPC2000.
Any help is much appreciated.
