R66 Maps

Download all US and Canada Maps for Route 66 from Lotsall webpage.

After we receive your problem,we care it very much.Our technician and supplier are resolving this issue.Now,we think TomTom map couldn't be matched with our GPS well.

Now,we have another kind of map,Route 66,which is more steady.

Please save them to your computer disk not desktop and also cut your old data in your sd card to your computer disk as a backup.Please choose the map file in .prm you need to download .After extract main soft of r66.rar ,please copy file named:
r66 ,shell.ini ,UserManual-NavSoon385.doc into your sd card .Then copy the map file in .prm to the folder maps(under R66) .

The attachment is a index for usa map .

I get the feeling that the combo of Rte66 and S-EAST cover the south. The PAC-NW map takes in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Colorado,Nevada, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, California and perhaps even more... The Rte66 Map takes in Southern CA, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas up through Chicago. When I try to load the S-EAST map it says not enough memory. Joy...

I don't know this software, can somesome guide me on whether this information and download path information is supposed to be public domain?

Well, nice to see THIS thread back anyway. And C:Amie, all we know is that the software that comes with the units is Route66, and that we've been sent links to the updated software.

Hi All,
I just got a GPS from Lotsall yesterday.
Two chips, One for UK Maps, one for USA/Canada maps

The preloaded chips both worked fine, until...
I removed the Western Canada Map preloaded on the small 1GB chip and replaced it with the Eastern Canada map from the CD with all the maps.

Now I get a message "Not enough memory to open this map"
I reinstalled the western canada map from CD - same result, tried all US maps, same error
Tried various UK Maps, some work, some don't (but all work on the 2GB UK chip).

This leads me to think there are errors in the maps on the CD.

The links from Lotsall in the first thread above don't work for me, has anyone succeeded in downloading their files? They might work.

Perhaps the 1Gb SD card is faulty?

Since the UK maps are all ok on your 2Gb card, why not copy these to your 1Gb card as a test.
