upgrade jornada 820e

hello
i have a jornada 820e, with compactflash modem hp (pretec), but my jornada reconise this modem but 10 second, after, i can t continue, and i must power off (the mouse curser is bloqued).
i try to install Handheld PC Pro Service Pack 1 but i can t .I don t now why I can intall nothing in this machine (I have this message for all applications : "name of the program" is not a valid windows ce application" .
Someone now this problem ?
I don t find drivers for usb
all programs for read photos dont work.

Chances are you are trying to upload host installers to the device.

You have to understand that Windows CE is not like mainstream Windows, it is a special version of it, and as such it cannot run the same programs.

If you are having problems with the modem, either it is incompatible with the the device, or it is loading the wrong driver.
