Is there a Generic Dot Matrix Driver for the 720? I know this is something Way out there, but years ago I got a hold of a Tandy Pocket PC Printer much like This one and hacked it to the serial port of my Apple ][, and it worked Great as a Generic ASCII Printer. I've been thinking How perfect a little 40 col ASCII Printer would be for my Data Acquisition project. but I got to find a Generic Ascii print driver

You might need to try a DOS printer driver in a DOS emulator like PocketDOS or pDOSBox.

CE Geek, I'm just throwing this Krazy idea out there, but I know in Basica or Applesoft Basic, If I address the serial port directly and just start throwing ASCII data out there at the printer it will print ASCII Charter. can I do the same thing in VB or NS BASIC ? or is that a question better suited for the developer forum ?

Yeah, I think it'd be a good idea to start a thread there with that question.
