That explains it. I've been searching just "Airpanel."

There are V210's (w/o accessories) going for $49.99. Cool! SVGA and Internal WiFi.

I assume they're CE 5 like the V212. The ones in the listing don't have batteries or power supplies - I trust the ones I have with my V110 will work in the V210.

The v210 runs 4.2.

There are more differences: v210 uses 400MHz CPU and has no co-processor while v212 uses 520MHz main CPU and additional co-processor. Hopefully, my v212 arrives tomorrow so that I share my impression quickly.

Does the V210 boot to the Windows CE desktop, or to a "Smart Display" interface? If the latter, is there a way to get to the Windows CE desktop without hacking the device?

I'm interested in your impressions.

I've added one of them to D&S (finally) and to H/PC:Update.

If any of the other mod's would like to chip in, it would get it done a lot faster

Indeed, it came this morning! It's a remarkable device. The interface is almost the same as 4.2. So far so good. Here are 3 photos to enjoy.

The good thing is it has Windows Messenger for voice (VoIP). I tried to find out the IE version but did not succeed.

Try going to a site that displays your user agent string, such as here.

Thanks for the tip. It's MSIE 6.0. I guess it's the same as that in CE 4.2.

If it is possible to give me access to that one area, I'll do it.
