Thank you for making Adobe Reader 2.0 available for this platform. I am in the process of installing the software. I have removed Adobe Reader 1.0 before trying to install version 2.0 and searched all directories for any files that I can identify belonging to the Adobe Reader that were not removed. However I get the error message "Adobe Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC 1.0 is already installed. Please uninstall it before installing Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0".
Which file(s) could cause this error message?
Regards

Tip on installing HPC Factor's Acrobat 2 when version 1.0 is already installed.
Problem: Previous installation not fully uninstalled
Platform: HP Jornada 728 Windows CE 3.00 HPC 2000
If you have version 1.00 of Acrobat already installed and try to install HPC Factors distribution of Acrobat 2.00 you will get an error dialog asking you to uninstall version 1.00.
If like me, you uninstall version 1.00 and the uninstall does not complete (in my case it was because I had a copy of MFC 3.0 DLL put in their myself to get the last version going) you might be left with a few registry entries that prevent installation of version 2.00.
You might try editing the registry to remove the traces of Acrobat version 1.00.
Open Pocket Registry Editor & go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software
The key Adobe will need removing.
Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps and remove the Adobe key there.
Install version 2.00 and the installer should run without any problems.
