CeGCC Development VM

Hi, after success with creating a ShiftJIS Japanese eVC 4 VM with @watamario15 & @C:Amie 's help.
I wanted to create a VM for CeGCC Development - but with both the ARM&X86 versions.

Now, I find CeGCC absolutely confusing. I'm a total beginner Is there a good guide that I can setup the ARM&X86 versions in either an older Linux Distro, or a newer one?

Basically my goals are the following:
1-Create a VM for VirtualBox that would allow me to take build projects using CeGCC and attempt to compile them for x86 if no version was available. So I'd need to be able to compile for both. Or attempt to at least
2-Be able to "Share Files" back and forth with a shared folder. (So I'd assume I'd need a newer Linux Distro if that's the case)

I never compiled for x86 on CeGCC, but there's a docker container by brainhackers containing all the tools. In order to change the root password of the docker container, there's a way to boot the OS in the docker container in root mode w/o knowing the root password of the container (ID=0) via docker. It allows to do anything you want (like passwd root password etc.) .

Hey thanks for your help - I'll have to file this onto my next projects to work on.

First of which is figuring out how to use Docker ;P

If there are docker images for it ( https://github.com/orgs/enlyze/packages?repo_name=ghcr-windows-ce-build-environment ) then it might be better to provide a how-to than a full VM because the VM of a current Linux distro will need to be serviced (unlike that of a long dead Windows version). If not, then a very slim, lightweight LTS distro is needed for the base OS, preferably of an established player.
