ScummVM modern port for WM

Hello to all the devoted fans of Windows Mobile.
I would like to reach out to you for help. I believe many of you are familiar with the wonderful ScummVM emulator that has long been ported to WM and works well there, but the last available version for it was v.1.5, which lacks support for many games. It would be great to try porting or building a newer version of the emulator. There is basically an instruction for this on the website, but since I'm a complete newbie, it's quite difficult for me to figure it out.

That's why we need the help of people who already have all the necessary tools and skills, as well as the desire, to try to build this package. According to the project author's words, support for Win CE was removed starting from version 2.0(1), but there is a forum post from an enthusiast who managed to compile version 2.3, although they encountered some problems. Unfortunately, that thread is already dead, and the author didn't leave any source code or files.

So if someone responds to help in this project, I will be very grateful for your assistance.

Honestly the best chance we have is getting that 2.3 version. I’ve exhausted all avenues in trying to get that released but maybe you’ll have better luck. We do have a version 1.6 pre release the final one scummvm released before dropping support

The are some active developer in this forums? Maybe we just usk some of them who have all instruments to compile

Did you mean Windows CE? Keep in mind that Windows Mobile =/= Windows CE

I can’t find where I located that 1.6 pre release build. Honestly I don’t even think there’s much of a difference between that and 1.5. And there probably isn’t worth it. It’s also a pre released 1.6 version so it’s probably buggy too. So I’d probably just stick with 1.5.
Someone in that scummvm mentioned a 1.7 build in that thread you linked to. Maybe ask them where they found the 1.7 build?

Like I said, your best option is trying to get Carlo to release their 2.3 build. Did you try?

I was able to locate in my archives more pre-release nightly builds of ScummVM, which are much newer than that 16 July 2013 1.6.0 version.

you understand me right? Ce is platform under the hood, like Nt in Windows. So Windows CE is use by official documentation of Scumm Vm instruction like universal platform for compiling. And i use WM for my noob opinion
I can rename it for more correct Win CE.
