It's not the quantity of C:Amie's posts that I appreciate, it's the quality of (most ) his post.
Most

We're all allowed to let our hair down and post in the Off-Topic section from time to time. I think that even you have been known too from time to time |

My 40 posts just seems to pale in comparison. |

| Yea, I blew off my 1337 status helping someone out. What a waste eh?
This place is like home. You can speak your mind without fear and have some good natured fun. And it's not stifling like a business meeting (god they're boring ). I rarely post anywhere else, I just read. |

For example - posting in the General Discussion Section is an easy way to run up you post count without really contributing to a better understand of Handheld PC's. Although there is nothing wrong with doing that, I think it more important to recognize the quality of posts contributed to the H/PC discussion, than just posts in general. Kudo Chris!
100, 200, 1000 posts etc, - it's all good ;)
Well here is 100 totally useless posts! :+D
Woohoo! |

You're now Elite and prolific poster #46
Edit: Wallythacker, pour vu
By the way, you may all be interested in knowing who the 1337th Forum User is. Well, it's lavbarros. Who unfortunately registered on 20th Feb, last logged in 20th Feb, and has a 0 post count.
Does this mean the Script Kiddies lie to us? 1337 isn't so Elite after all?
Having said that, look at the company in his board web address: http://www.above-net.com/ |

Mission Accomplished.....
That is exactly what we were striving for when we started HPC:Factor and these forums specifically. |

| About useless off-topic posts, as I have a few,
Once I get a J720, I'll probably be doing more "Tech Support" as it be, on the forum.
But for the most part, I feel that I can be pretty helpful, when I'm not sleeping... |

I am not that helpful on the site, I mostly post in off topic as it is... |

| Chris, TY for making a screencap of my 1337 post. It's a moment I'm proud of
I'm always amazed at the help I've had here getting US goodies when it really counts. I'd lend you guys money if you needed it faster than I'd loan it to some of my "friends". (don't ask, I'm nearly tapped out now.... ) But you get the idea.
I try to jump in and help when I can but I also like to expand the topics here, like pets, Nascar, F1, bizarre sleeping habits and whatnot. I feel I know everyone a lot better from the madness in off-topic Since hpcs are a way of life some of us will be here a loooooong time, as long as we have a hpc still alive and kicking.
BTW, I slept from 10pm Friday night to 9am Sat morning and feel "normal" again. I hope to maintain this schedule. |
