I need to clarify since I've obviously confused everyone: the 3000 has built-in padding but no extra pads, as it was obviously designed with the Jornada in mind. It's generic cases, like the "PDA box" that I have, that come with extra pads to provide a snug fit for whatever device goes inside. (I just remembered wrong earlier. Sorry for misleading everyone.)

CE Geek, the 3000 in the Otterbox bargain bin comes only in green and without padding. I understand that if you buy one at regular retail you can get any color offered and that it comes with padding. So.... you are the one who is confused. ;+) he he he

That doesn't sound right, cuz the one I already have has built-in padding. (It's also purple. Maybe a different stock; I bought it a few months ago.)

As I said, that's not how I got it a few months ago. But I admit that I missed the fine print in this one ("no foam". Go easy on me, my old brain just don't work like it used to.

I have the HP Branded one and it came with built in padding. My 720 fits perfectly! No movement at all. I think I paid $17 for it on Ebay. I use an old camera case for my accessories..and my Mp3 player fits in it too.

I got mine, and I just got its contents too. Cool inside and out.
