A "simple" question:
If I have a pda device with empty flash, only the bootloader's working...Is there some way to get the device connected to WinXP by USB?
Tested mtty1.42.exe tool with NO luck! I've could't see the USB as port-option to choose.
Also killed the wcescomm.exe from TaskManager...Nothing!
Is there any OTHER code or tool to use?

yes you might be able to connect via usb but this depends on the device. if it is implemented, fine, if not then bad luck i would need to see the bootloader.

sanco do you have the flash cause i deleted my flash aswell and from the looks of it youve brought your gps back to life.can you shed some light and help me get mine up and running aswell.thanx in advance

he sent it in to service.

but i got a romdump of his another (intact) avic s1, thats what i'd try for your problem if it is not under warranty or whatever.
