And now for my problem.

Thought I would try TCPMP on my MB900. I had used it on my J720, but thought it was a nice novelty but the screen was too small, etc. Now the MB900 has about 2x the screen size and I was curious to see how a movie would run.

Movies run for about 30 s. then the screen goes blank. Always.

Tech details:
TCPMP v. .81 and .71
Turned off Control Panelisplay:Backlight:AutoBacklight turnoff

Then I tried GAPI (v.3.09), some of their test videos. Same thing happens. That tells me it's not TCPMP. Also, when GAPI is running and I tap the screen, it goes blank for a fraction of a second.

(BTW. I did read a previous thread that seemed to describe the same problem, but that one went off on a tangent. Never seemed to resolve the blank screen.)

Any ideas? (Thx in advance.)

Well I can't access that in TCPMP. The font for that option is blue which I interpret as "not available."

A bit more info: This happens now no matter what the application. If I hit Fn-Spacebar, the screen comes back.

yes tcpmp can screw it up that badly. i had to do a hard reset as i didn't want to spend time figuring out how to fix it. so next time make sure you untick that silly option before playing anything in tcpmp and then it should be OK.
