it does not, but without mshtml.dll it is no wonder it doesn't. it needs mshtml. ce 2.11 doesn't have it at all in ROM.
that is a known bug in PIE on ce 2.11, so maybe IE4 would be better

I see. Going from working on HPC hardware to the software side is becoming rather interesting to me. I grabbed 4 different SimPad roms (2 HPC 2000, CE.NET 4.0, CE.NET 4.1) and ran them thru dumprom. I was able to get explorer and MSHTML.dll files to extract from the roms. I don't know if they extracted correctly, but if anyone wants to try them out, I can email them. Both of the HPC 2000 MSHTML files are 1.86 MB. CE 4.0 is 2.13 MB and CE 4.1 is 2.07 MB. I'll give them a try soon, but I have to get my hands on a ARM based system again, I've only got MIPS and SH3 here at the moment.

sorry but xip system files from rom will probably not work. thats why the mips mshtml.dll i sourced does not work i.e. it cannot render any page - IE will start with it on hpc2000 so it sees the dll but as mshtml is the rendering engine... you see..
we will need platform builder 3 for this. luckily we are getting closer to that as hpcfactor won one copy on ebay yesterday. wish us luck!

Cool. I had been watching that copy all week and now I'm glad I didn't bid on it. Best of Luck!
