According to wikipedia and a couple other sources (although they may have copied the text from wikipedia, i don't know), both the 1000 and the 1050 were able to have rotatable screens/resolutions.

The hack for the 1050 is to do something with the Clio Controls applet, but the 1000 does not have that.

Does anyone happen to know, or know where I can find out how to rotate the display?

Also, what is the largest CF card that'll work in the C-1000?

One more question, this one is more general: How can I setup wireless syncing over the network if I've never setup a partnership before on the Clio? I try firing up Activesync on it and I get "You must establish a partnership with a desktop computer prior to running Actvesync." Is there a way to bypass this, or have some sort of reg file I can add that'll effectively add a partnership so I can sync over (W)LAN?

Ok, so one more question I tried downloading the clio c-1000 SP1 from the pintax site, but every time I try to install it on my computer, it (installshield) crashes. I'm just trying to get the cab file (if possible), so if someone has the SP1 update and can send me a working installer/cab, I'd be forever greatful!

Thanks in advance!

Largest CF card (for H/PC Pro): 32 GB (that's right, gigabytes)

But I don't know how to enable screen rotation (90-degree increments) on the C-1000. (I can't even do it on my C-1050 because some of the keys used in the hack don't work on my C-1050.)

It's a neat trick.
I wonder though where the under-lying change is taking place. Registry, Settings file? If there is one there must be a far easier way to make the change.

Unfortunately, the page you linked to is for the 1050, just like the one here on HPCFactor. There is no Clio Controls applet for me to adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. I do that all by using the keyboard :/

Anyone else happen to know?

Hey I have extra memory cards for the C-1050. I was wondering if the memory card would fit a C-1000 to boost its memory. Do you want to give it a try?

What do you mean by memory cards?

If you're talking about Compact Flash, I already have plenty of those
