| We're trying to figure it out. Also, I'm planning to get someone to program an all new browser for the CE 2.11, so keep checking. |

| If you have a MIPS machine (NEC 770/780/800/880, Clio, etc ) an alternative is WorldTalk:

| Cool. I'll try it today. |

| I use about four browers do get things done.
Netfront 3.0 has the best layout and lets me connect to Gmail. But it tends to act buggy, and doesnt allways listen to command and can be sluggys somethimes.
IExplorer is fast but doesn't renden nice an don't save image to .jpg. I use WTalk for this, WTalk doesn't render websides that great. Pocket browser can show you HTML code but doesn't open into an other window. and doesn't let you save images at all.
I wonder about minimo for mips. Does it exist?

| Just for kicks, I downloaded minimo .007. Ran fine on my 900C, but I don't know if that's a fair test for the 2.11 peeps.

| I've been looking for a browser for my Aero 8000 (2.11, sh4) and came across someone who in 2002 said they were able to run the Icestorm browser on the Aero. They said it requires java runtime. I think it may still be available, but I haven't been able to find any other information yet. Has anyone else heard of this? |

| Unfortunately, for the 680, PIE is the only option. |

| Minimo for arm I suppose.
For arm users go here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/minimo/wince_milestones/
Or for other ARM distributions go here:
http://www.meer.net/~dougt/minimo_ce/
I checked the DLL's with this distribution but it seems only to work on ARM devices.
Do you think this can be patched?
The attached text document holds some ifo on the dll's Attachments ---------------- minimo_arm_v.txt (3KB - 4 downloads) |
