The application is called Wisbar, and you would need a 2.11 build of it even if I had the skin graphics to hand.

Wisbar, thats it thanks C:Aime. The best way would be to get a Longhorn themes pack then get a screenshot of your desktop, then just split the screenshot up into individual images.

OK boys and Girls.

2.11, as close to Longhorn as I can.

You can download it from the Themes section for HVGA and VGA.

I assume you mean LH Bliss, figured I'd use the 5060 build one from WinHEC instead

It's a registry hack.

There is a program called DeSappear which will do it for you. You can get it in the Downloads Section.

desappear won't work on my 720/728. it just messes up my desktop! it's for wince 2.11 afaik...

so if desappear sucks, there's the reghack:
HKLM/System/GWE/
SysColor
and there edit the 5.-6.-7.-8. hexa (pay attention!) to FF FF FF FF.
softreset
that's all

i already know it by heart

oh yeah and if you couldn't find SysColor then go to Appearances in desktop properties and edit there something... it helped me at least

Neat!

I don't suppose there's a MIPS/CE2.11 version that'd let me skin my MobilePro 880 that way....
