| I dont mean to rush anything, but is there any progress updates on making a mobile version of HPC:factor for HPCs?
Thanks,

| I think it's a fair question to ask. C:Amie is plenty busy, but it never hurts to gently remind him. :+D The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Just don't squeak too loud or he might get his feathers ruffled. heh heh |

| I got a request, and hopefully it shouldnt be too hard to implement, but still.
Is there a way that you can make the website/forum "stretch width to fit"
I'm finally the lucky owner of a screen that displays 1920x1200 (WUXGA), and I have a LOT of empty space availiable on the right site of the screen when browsing.

| The forum is delimited, as is the HCL.
The remainder of the editorial content uses limited regions; it was a design constraint of V2 as V1's delimited margins was unruly. I have no plans on reversing this.
The decision isn't one of a melodramatic 4:3 user. I am aware of what it looks like on the Widescreen displays, I put the site up on my 37" to check content changes frequently.
No progress on the mobile mod. It might be something I sit down and do over the summer. I'm not going to make any promises here though; this way I cannot disappoint any users. |

| That's too bad, cuz for the rest of us there's the opposite problem of the pages being too wide for our screens (usually when images are attached ). |

| Thanks for the progress update, C:Amie .. Anything that you do to make HPC:Factor better on HPCs (shhh or PPCs ) would help ..

Thanks the emails are back
C:Amie, the emails are down, again. :+ ( I assume you already are aware of this. I'll doublecheck my profile to make sure it didn't get inadvertently changed. Let me know if you think it is on my end. |

| C:Amie, if it helps in the debugging process, I noticed email notifications died near the end of March and again near the end of April. I don't know if there is anything to this timing, but it appears to be about 30 days apart. Maybe it's just coincidence, but I'm hoping this helps you.
OT: This is my 200th post. |

| The problem is the SMTP server actually. When it goes, it goes.
Unfortunately more servers are not an option - unless anyone knows of a server tree? |

| Sorry to hear it's random. That makes it more frustrating for you, I'm sure. Email notifications are a nice convenience, but by no means vital. Personally, I can live without the feature even though I like it. If you find a solution, great. If you have to disable or discontinue it, that won't detract from the community IMO. |

| It will get fixed, the problem isn't with the web site, it's purely the standalone mail system. While you're not getting notifications, I'm not sending / receiving email. |
