The "Forum ideas / Bugs / Request" thread

Just tell us that the site is going down, C:Amie, and I think you will start seeing a lot of money pile up at your door!

Anyways - this is just a little annoyance that I have had for a bit. When I go to post, I am generally responding to the LAST post, not the first one, which is displayed. Would it be possible to make the forum display both the first AND last posts, or is that something at the very core of the forum?

It's a problem I'm aware of, it's down to the part BBS part forum nature of the core. I would prefer it to go all out forum and loose the BBS mode in my personal view.
Ideally it should just list the posts from that page in rerse order so you can track through.

The trick with it in its current form is for you to effectivly use the "Reply" on each post rather then the "reply" at the top and bottom of the page, that way it quotes the reply you clicked on and not the first post of the thread.

What about instant messaging page? I see lots of people online many times when I visit this forum

Nick, right now I don't want to stress the database out. I am thinking proactivly towards adding your devices to the profile somewhere.

Stingraze, this is being thought about also in one guise or another. No details as yet.

mmm, instead of instant messaging, just host an IRC channel right here, and add a web client for those who don't use IRC.

Haha, thnaks for the offer, but we have to keep that sort of thing in house. If you want to discuss systems, then contact Insurgent. He knows everything there is to know I think - especially if it's Java based.

Apart from helping in the forums, It's the least I can do but oh well I understand, anyway the problem with chat rooms they need to be heavly moderated there not like forums.

Anyway if you want anything just ask!
