| Right, i have got my internet working now through my Wanadoo Livebox wireless router. I cannot work out how to get MSN messenger force connected. It just comes up with 'not connected' when i try to connect.
Are there any other msn messenger windows CE apps?
Or does anyone know how i can fix this?

| There is one, (forgotten what it is called again) It does IRC, Jabber, MSN and others.

| Messenger Force is a dead application, it was not updated after the 2003 lock-down.
iMov is the Jabber client Nick is referring to. |

| timhannibal, you could try the ppc version of MSN messenger. that works beautifully. you should hexedit it though if you're already using wlan. if you want me to post the files it's no problem for me  Edited by cmonex 2005-04-15 8:51 PM

| Hey, whats this about a hex edited version of MSN for PPC??? are you referring to Messnger force for the ppc? or is it actually the MSN messenger version for ppc just working on J720...? If so could anyone email me the hex edited program!? Would greatly appreciate it..

| yeah, it's the ppc version of messenger force. but i made a mistake in my earlier post. it's actually good news: you don't need to hexedit it, just download the ppc version, install it then put there aygshell.dll (in the application's folder or maybe windows folder ) then run the program. good luck |

| Ahh ok, I got excited for a second. Yeah I have the PPC version of Messenger force installed already. And it's working ok.

| OK, I have a little update for everyone, and I guess a poll also....
the ppc version of messenger force has been working fine for me for a good while. HOWEVER! quite recently, it has started creating trouble. When I execute the program the little icon appears in the tray then just stops! and I touch it, and it closes/../.... over and over and over again.... it just won't work. I have uninstalled, re installed and soft reset! no joy! quite strange. I am using IMOV atm... but I liked messenger force!!
anyone had this similar problem??
