Hello guys!

As HPCPRO Jose Antonio mentioned in his thread:
<a target="_blank" href="http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=202">http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=202</a> <BR>
MapSonic is the only GPS-Navigation-Software working on J720!

Now I´ve tested MapSonic v.2.5 (with update to 2.5.2) on my J720 and it works perfect!
The advantage of 2.5 instead of 1.3:

- Maps are much smaller!
- Skin support! => No Nyditot Virtual Display needed! => faster application!!!

How to install:

Just run the Setup from CD and follow the installation steps!

1. After installation copy only "aygshell.dll" mentioned in HPCPRO Jose Antonio´s thread into the installation-folder of MapSonic on your HPC
(for example: \storagecard\mapsonic\).

2. Open the skin-file "WCE_240x240.skn" located in: \storagecard\mapsonic\resources
with a simple text-editor. Change the entry "APP_WIDTH" to 640.
Now save this file as: "WCE_240x320.skn" and override the one which already exists in the resources-folder.

3. Softreset your J720 and have fun with Mapsonic 2.5 !!!

Please report your bugs here!

I use a HAICOM HI300S Compact Flash connected with a PCMCIA CF adapter.
No need driver.

You can see my 720 using HI300S with Mapsonic v1.3:
