I believe you just need to run the installation on your pc, and look for the cab files in the "c:\program files\microsoft ActiveSync" directory or something. |

| uncheck proxy settings (IE/view/internet options/connections) if it's checked |

|
| Doing this will fix it? Does it matter what version of IE I am running? Also how can I upgrade memory on my HP J 720??

| maybe it will work. try it.
only one version of IE is available, so no, it doesn't matter.
you can get a 32 MB memory upgrade for 129$ or buy a jornada 728 |

| What happens is the dialer comes up everytime I start IE... In the connections settings it only asks for serial, infared, serial port, and MY Connection (which is dialer ). So I don't know what to put it on since I have tried all. |

| or if you don't need any other network connection (dialup ), just delete them from remote networking
Hope this helps |

| What about this LP Socket program I have on here? Does IE know to pick up the link signal? |

| don't care about socket LP. (it's just a driver that has nothing to do with wlan )
and please try the things we said. hopefully your problem will be solved.
of course, IE will know that there's a wlan connection present. Edited by cmonex 2005-04-26 12:28 AM
